Going digital

...I have already deplored the mentality which permits the closure of the bookshop which first opened in 1894, the foundation stone of what has now become a large bookselling chain, presumably managed by hard-nosed accountants for whom tradition and cultural value are patently not balance sheet items.

I have bought my first Kindle e-book... the sixth volume of CJ Sansom's Shardlake series, Heartstone.

My second purchase will certainly be Golden Dawn (penned by yours truly). I shall thereafter note with some satisfaction that at least one person has invested $2.99 in my book!
